Founded in 2013, Epic Star Paranormal is a paranormal investigation team dedicated to uncovering the echoes left behind by history, energy, and the unseen. Led by founder and sole investigator Jessica Woodward-Combs, Epic Star Paranormal explores haunted locations, abandoned structures, private properties, and historic sites with respect, curiosity, and integrity.

Blending paranormal investigation, historical research, and metal detecting, Epic Star Paranormal seeks not only evidence of paranormal activity, but also the stories and artifacts that connect us to the past. Each investigation is approached with an open mind—acknowledging both scientific tools and personal experiences—while honoring the people, places, and spirits involved.

Epic Star Paranormal believes that every location has a story to tell. Some whisper. Some linger. And some are waiting to be heard.

Haunted Pine Lawn Manor is renowned as one of the most active paranormal locations in the tri-state area of Southwest Indiana, Northwest Kentucky, and Illinois. Known for its intense supernatural activity, this site is not for the faint-hearted. Over the years, the manor has transitioned from a bustling motel to a rehab center and nursing home, but its history is marred with dark tales.

Originally, Pine Lawn Manor served as a motel, catering to travelers passing through the area. However, it was later converted into a rehabilitation center and nursing home. Unfortunately, the facility gained notoriety for its poor treatment of patients. At one point, it was named the worst facility in the state, leading to its eventual closure. Patients reportedly suffered severe mistreatment, including being tied to their beds and enduring various forms of abuse. These tragic events have left an indelible mark on the manor, with many believing that the spirits of those who suffered still linger

within its walls.

Visitors to Haunted Pine Lawn Manor often report chilling encounters with the supernatural. Some of the most common phenomena include:

• Being Scratched: Guests frequently experience unexplained scratches appearing on their skin.
• Chairs Being Violently Shaken: While seated, people have felt chairs shaking violently beneath them.
• Audible Voices and Whistles: Disembodied voices and eerie whistles echo through the halls, even when no one else is around.
• The Smell of Burning Electrical Wires: A pungent odor of burning wires often permeates the manor, despite no apparent source.  This smell often moves throughout the hallway.
• Shadow People: Dark, shadowy figures are seen moving silently throughout the building.
• Overwhelming Dread: Visitors often describe a heavy sense of dread that accompanies them during their visit.
• Phantom Footsteps: Many have reported the unnerving sensation of being followed by footsteps that echo in the empty corridors.
